Fiona M. Lindo, MD, MPH, is a practicing urogynecologist and health coach based in Houston, Texas. Triple-boarded in OBGYN, Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery, and Lifestyle Medicine, Dr. Lindo has served for almost a decade as the Medical Director of Urogynecology and, Director for the Center of Restorative Pelvic Medicine at Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital. She is on faculty as Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at Texas A & M University, School of Medicine, Houston Campus. She also serves as the Associate Fellowship Program Director and International Women’s Health Director of Urogynecology & Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at Houston Methodist Hospital. Dr. Lindo is dedicated to serving women globally and has worked in many countries. She has developed the International Women’s Health program for the Urogynecology fellowship training program and has worked in many countries including Haiti, Jamaica, India, Liberia, Ghana, and Japan, and currently goes to Malawi yearly to teach and take care of women. As a certified surgical coach through the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Lindo has developed a structured program on surgical coaching and mentorship for trainees in urogynecology. She is a Fellow of the American College of OB/GYN and the American College of Surgeons. She completed her fellowship in Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Medicine at Scott & White Healthcare, Texas A&M University, College of Medicine. Her current research interests include Surgical Education and Coaching, Lifestyle medicine & Pelvic floor disorders, and Pelvic floor disorders in global health. She has been active in the International Urogynecology Association since 2011 and currently serves as the Chair of the Fellowship Development Committee. She recently received the 2023 AMWA Inspire Award, which celebrates accomplished women in medicine who exemplify the highest values in vision, integrity, service, and collaboration in medicine and healthcare.  Dr. Lindo embraces a faith-based holistic wellness approach incorporating mindfulness, mental wellbeing, movement, and whole food plant-based nutrition. She is passionate about working with community organizations to promote a healthy lifestyle. With her specialized focus on women's pelvic health and wellness, she aims to understand the unique needs of individuals and provide compassionate care and coaching.
