Brian E. Hardy, M.B.A.
Brian Hardy brings more than 25 years of executive leadership, operational strategy, and management consulting experience to Healthy Heart Nation, where he serves as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO). In this role, he is responsible for ensuring the organization's financial stewardship, operational excellence, and technology-forward infrastructure, helping position Healthy Heart Nation for sustainable growth and long-term community impact.
As CFO/COO, Brian provides strategic oversight of the organization's financial planning, budgeting, and operational systems. He works closely with leadership to ensure Healthy Heart Nation remains fiscally responsible while building the operational foundation and technological capabilities necessary to expand its mission and reach. His expertise helps guide data-driven decision-making, organizational efficiency, and the implementation of innovative solutions that strengthen service delivery and community engagement.
Brian is deeply committed to advancing health equity and creating pathways for individuals and families to access opportunities that improve quality of life. He believes that strong communities are built when people have access to resources, education, economic opportunity, and healthcare support that positively influence the social determinants of health. Through his leadership at Healthy Heart Nation, he helps ensure the organization remains focused on delivering measurable impact while maintaining the highest standards of accountability and stewardship.
Professionally, Brian has provided management consulting solutions for more than two decades across multiple industries, including telecommunications, aerospace, and government sectors. His extensive experience includes operational planning, financial modeling, business transformation, strategic growth initiatives, and the evaluation and deployment of emerging technologies. Throughout his career, he has successfully led initiatives ranging from organizational restructuring and performance improvement to the outsourcing and management of global operations.
In addition to his role with Healthy Heart Nation, Brian serves as Executive Vice President of ITConnect Incorporated, a technology services firm, and is the Founder and Managing Partner of Fifty-Two Consulting. He is also an active leader in the nonprofit sector, serving several boards and advisory groups. He currently serves as Board Treasurer and Technology Committee Chair for the Association of Passive Optical LAN and as a Director on the Board of the Benjamin Banneker Foundation. His previous nonprofit leadership roles include Board Director for the National Black Business Council and Director and Secretary for the Black Business Association of Los Angeles.
Brian earned his undergraduate degree from Oakwood College and a Master of Business Administration in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix. His combination of financial expertise, operational leadership, technological innovation, and commitment to community advancement makes him an invaluable member of the Healthy Heart Nation leadership team and a driving force behind the organization's mission to create healthier communities for all.
