DeVona B. Roseberry, J.D.

DeVona Roseberry serves as Secretary and Chief Legal Officer for Healthy Heart Nation, where she provides strategic legal leadership and governance oversight to support the organization's mission of advancing health equity and community wellness. In her role, she is responsible for compliance, risk management, board governance, policy development, regulatory oversight, and organizational integrity, ensuring that Healthy Heart Nation operates according to the highest legal and ethical standards.

As Chief Legal Officer, DeVona advises the Board of Directors and executive leadership on matters related to nonprofit governance, regulatory compliance, contracts, corporate policies, strategic partnerships, and risk mitigation. She plays a vital role in safeguarding the organization's mission, protecting its assets, and establishing legal frameworks that support sustainable growth, community engagement, and organizational accountability. Her leadership helps strengthen Healthy Heart Nation's capacity to build trusted partnerships while remaining compliant with evolving legal and regulatory requirements.

A passionate advocate for justice, education, and community empowerment, DeVona is deeply committed to ensuring that underserved populations have access to opportunities and resources that foster emotional, mental, physical, and social well-being. Her dedication to advocacy aligns closely with Healthy Heart Nation's focus on addressing the social determinants of health and creating healthier, more equitable communities.

A native of Cleveland, Ohio, DeVona spent her formative years in the Atlanta metropolitan area. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Oakwood College (now Oakwood University) and a Juris Doctor degree from John Marshall Law School in Atlanta, Georgia.

In addition to serving as Chief Legal Officer for Healthy Heart Nation, DeVona is the Founder and Managing Attorney of Bryant Roseberry Law, LLC. Her more than 22 years of legal experience encompass Estate Planning, Juvenile Law, Adoptions, Family Law, and Business Organizations. Through her legal practice, she has guided families, entrepreneurs, and organizations through complex legal matters while championing solutions that promote long-term stability and success.
Beyond her private practice, DeVona serves as a contract attorney for two Family Resource Courts in the State of Georgia, where she provides legal expertise to support programs that strengthen children, families, and communities. She is an active member of the State Bar of Georgia and the National Association of Counsel for Children.
