Sue McCormick

Sue currently serves as Regional Vice President of Operations for Island Hospitality, where she is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of a diverse portfolio of hotels in the Southeastern region.  She supports hotel strategy in the areas of operations, sales, human resources, financial success, and superior service; working with such premium brands as Hilton, Marriott, and Intercontinental hotels.

Sue works closely with ownership groups, hotel brand representatives, property-level General Managers, and sales teams, to ensure exceptional results across the performance scorecard.

In a career that spans over 25 years, Sue has built a reputation on passion and dedication… passion for people, passion for service, and dedication to optimal performance.  A unique ability to build exceptional teams, create award-winning sales strategies, and implement operational initiatives that maximize profitability, makes her a respected industry veteran.  As a member of Island Hospitality’s Diversity Committed, Sue also assists in developing a culture of best-in-class engagement and inclusiveness.

In her spare time, Sue mentors young adults who are aging out of foster care, and volunteers for numerous non-profit and civic organizations within the Atlanta metro area.
